Farrnborough Launch of Fit to Fly Tool Box - Updated Item
The Farnborough International Air Show saw the first public demonstration of the Coplan "Fit to Fly" Intelligent Tool Box. This news item has been updated to include a photograph of just one style of the latest cabinet range design.
The key features of the Fit to Fly box are the Controlled Access - by user and by drawer, The Auditing of who accessed and when, the Tool Management itself, the Fit to Fly Enterprise Software, Interrogation of the audit tracking together with the Lock Down & Timeout functions.
Flexibility of design allows the Fit to Fly Intelligent Tool Box to be implemented as a stand alone unit or part of an enterprise wide solution.

Audi Best Practice
The new Coplan Front End Protector, which has been developed with VAG Milton Keynes, has now been accredited as a "Best Practice" product for use in the Audi repair/maintenance area.
The wing and grill protective panels have non-slip rubber backings with adjustable straps for looping around the bonnet hinges. The velcro patches on the straps allow for them to be looped around the door mirrors when the protector is used on the smaller models.
The mesh areas covering the headlight units allow the Daytime Running Lamps to be left on whilst work is being carried out, without any fear of overheating of the lamp lenses.
In use throughout the VAG National Learning Centre for Audi models, the Front End Protector is now available for purchase by distributors for use in their own maintenance/repair facility.
